Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
Nice to Haves
Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.
2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
Experience building, evaluating, or deploying Large Language Model (LLM) applications, conversational agents, or agentic frameworks.
Experience designing and operating scalable, low-latency microservices and distributed backend systems.
Experience with Kotlin, Android and generative AI tools.
Experience with backend software development.
What You'll Be Doing
Design, build and maintain common components and infrastructure spanning data processing, infrastructure, serving, and development that power Google Health research.
Develop new prototype systems to test innovative research ideas.
Help partner teams integrate with the infrastructure and tools.
Own and maintain existing or new services, including participating in the on-call rotation.
Communicate and work with multi-disciplinary and multi-site teams.
