Requirements

• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, including significant time as the technical owner of a large production system
• Deep distributed systems expertise
• Proficiency in one or more of Python, C++, Java, Rust or Go
• Track record of operating critical systems
• Ability to lead ambiguous, cross-organizational work to completion

Nice to Haves

• Experience with constraint-based scheduling, planning, or solver-backed systems
• Experience integrating AI tools to optimize workflows
• Background in infrastructure automation or cloud infrastructure
• Experience implementing responsible, ethical AI practices
• Comfort working in a large mature codebase with cross-team dependencies

• Design and evolve orchestration engines
• Lead through others to drive alignment across multiple functions
