Developer Experience Lead (JetBrains Cloud Platform)

Requirements

• Extensive experience with build systems (Gradle, Maven, or Bazel)
• Strong expertise in CI/CD systems (GitHub Actions, TeamCity, Jenkins, or similar)
• Hands-on experience with Docker and containerized development workflows
• Understanding of the software development life cycle
• Ability to drive cross-team initiatives and influence engineering practices
• Motivated to improve engineer productivity

Nice to Haves

• Experience improving developer experience at scale
• Worked on AI-driven development pipelines
• Expertise in build caching, remote execution, and incremental build strategies
• Contributed to or maintained open-source build tooling or CI/CD infrastructure
• Enjoy solving performance problems

• Own and drive strategy for developer experience improvements
• Optimize build systems for faster builds and reproducibility
• Set up AI development pipelines and manage context
• Improve CI/CD pipelines for reliability and resource optimization
• Enhance containerized development workflows
• Identify and eliminate bottlenecks in the development cycle
• Establish best practices and tooling standards
