Mobile UI/Design Engineer

Requirements

• Deep, demonstrable experience building polished mobile interfaces in React Native
• A trained eye for interaction design
• A portfolio or demo reel of shipped work is a hard requirement
• Experience with modern AI development tooling
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

Nice to Haves

• Experience with React Native Skia, custom shader work, or canvas-based rendering
• Some native platform knowledge (Swift/Kotlin)
• Building interaction patterns adopted by other engineers
• Background in or affinity for visual/motion design
• Experience in high-stakes product domains
• Strong opinions, loosely held

What You'll Be Doing

• Own the craft layer of React Native mobile experience
• Push React Native beyond its defaults
• Partner closely with product designers
• Establish animation primitives and interaction patterns
• Profile and optimize rendering performance
• Contribute to architectural decisions
• Mentor engineers on interaction quality
