Software Engineer II - React Native - Krak

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on web or mobile applications
• Solid working knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and hands-on experience building with React Native
• Experience integrating and consuming APIs, with attention to security and performance on mobile
• Experience with frontend testing frameworks and modern front-end build pipelines and tooling
• Strong understanding of UI/UX best practices, empathy for the customer, and a passion for building intuitive, performant consumer experiences
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

Nice to Haves

• Familiarity with native mobile app development (iOS/Android)
• Experience developing micro interactions and animations in React Native
• Experience with Next.js and WebSockets
• Experience within a large technology organization or fast-growing startup
• Hands-on experience in consumer payments, crypto or fintech mobile applications
• Working knowledge of Rust (or similar languages such as Go or C++), and familiarity with async architectures, APIs, and microservices
• Experience building large-scale consumer or financial products
• Contributions to open-source or the broader engineering community

What You'll Be Doing

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality mobile applications using React Native and TypeScript
• Own the end-to-end delivery of assigned Krak features, from technical design through release and post-launch iteration
• Build screens and components that are maintainable, performant, and resilient, applying established architecture and design patterns
• Contribute to technical design discussions within your pod, raising clear proposals and trade-offs for the work you own
• Help improve code quality, shared components, and tooling across the Krak mobile codebase, keeping current with the React Native ecosystem
