Principal Design Engineer

Requirements

• Extensive experience working in product or service design and/or shipping production code
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Graphic Design, Product Design, Visual Design, Human Computer Interaction, or related field AND solid experience working in product or service design and/or shipping production code
• Master's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Graphic Design, Product Design, Visual Design, Human Computer Interaction, or related field AND solid experience working in product or service design and/or shipping production code
• Equivalent experience

Responsibilities

• You will champion collaboration between design and engineering to fill gaps and contribute to initiatives that create opportunities for impact.
• You will lead the development and/or enablement of front-end design solutions, technical prototypes, tooling, and/or user interface systems for one or more owned products.
• As you lead interactions with Engineering for successful design implementation, you will also lead design Q&A forums to ensure "pixel perfect" designs.
• You’ll lead the building and maintenance of tools, platforms, and systems, and you’ll ensure the use and adoption of the latest codebases and design systems.
• You’ll communicate a compelling, convincing product story to a variety of audiences, inspiring excitement and support of the product.
