AWS Network Engineer

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a cloud engineering role with a strong focus on AWS
• Solid understanding of Networking fundamentals including IPv4 subnetting, TCP/IP, BGP, DNS, HTTP and DHCP
• Good knowledge and experience of using AWS networking services like VPC, Transit Gateway, PrivateLink, etc.
• Demonstratable experience in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Python
• Ability to troubleshoot networking issues using AWS and/or 3rd Party tools
• Effective communication and collaboration skills within a team

Nice to Haves

• Experience or willingness to learn newer AWS Technologies and IP Address Management
• Knowledge of Load Balancing, Security, Open Source technologies, Logging and Observability, and IPv6 architectures on AWS

• Develop and manage global AWS network architecture
• Use infrastructure-as-code for scale and consistency
• Automate deployment for controlled changes
• Explore and onboard new AWS services for platform improvement
• Contribute to network governance and observability practices
• Build relationships with Security, IT, and End User teams
