Software Engineer

Requirements

• 3+ years industry experience designing, building, and supporting large-scale systems
• Fluency in Java
• Experience with high performance and scalable software in an internet-scale distributed cloud environment
• Experience with SQL and good understanding of relational databases
• Interest in creating well-thought-out infrastructure and APIs
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written, and an interest in working with a diverse set of peers and external developers

Your Responsibilities

• Design and develop data integration and processing applications, replicating data from various sources into Snowflake
• Develop a robust connector platform to standardize and accelerate connector development
• Optimize performance of ingestion, troubleshoot issues, and ensure secure data transfer
• Create design documents and present them to stakeholders
• Collaborate with PMs and customers to translate business requirements into connector solutions
