Software Engineer (Java)

Requirements:

• 6+ years of experience as a Java Software Engineer
• Developing in Java with clean and maintainable code
• Experience architecting cloud-native applications on AWS
• Good knowledge of engineering processes and system optimization
• Leadership skills and mentoring experience
• Experience with relational RDBMS and SQL
• Code Quality practices and constructive code reviews

What You Will Be Doing:

• Work with Product Managers and UX designers on new features
• Develop features with end users in mind and write tests
• Lead the architecture definition on AWS
• Own team's work and drive sprints
• Deploy and monitor new features in production
• Solve production problems and provide mentorship
