Senior Android Engineer - Data Platform

Requirements

• Experienced in building Android applications and SDKs at scale
• Deep understanding of modern Android development and tooling
• Skills in writing readable, maintainable, and performant code in Kotlin
• Working experience with C++
• Comfortable supporting iOS if needed
• Experience working with large-scale systems or data-heavy environments
• Knowledge of developer tooling, build systems, or data-related technologies

What You'll Be Doing

• Build and evolve Android SDKs for analyzing user behavior at scale
• Contribute to a high-performing team of engineers, designers, and product managers
• Develop scalable, testable, and maintainable code
• Help define and improve Android engineering practices
• Collaborate with platform and data teams to deliver impactful solutions
• Drive innovation, improve developer productivity, and experience
• Support the broader Android community at Spotify and influence technical direction
