Principal Applied Research Engineer

Requirements

• Proven track record training large-scale video generation models from scratch
• Deep experience with post-training techniques at scale
• Ability to think strategically about multi-year research direction
• Cross-functional influence skills

What you'll be doing

• Own the end-to-end technical direction for offline video generation
• Partner with research leadership to define long-term roadmap
• Identify critical technical gaps and unblock them
• Increase velocity of research to product
• Coach and elevate more junior researchers and engineers
• Help shape team structure to enable high-velocity execution

Particularly relevant experience

• Owned a major model generation end-to-end
• Worked across pre-training and post-training stages
• Experience operating at scale
• Applied alignment and fine-tuning techniques in a video context
• Experience with human feedback pipelines in generative video
