Software Engineer II

Requirements:

• Comfortable working on an agile, distributed team
• Effective communication across technical and non-technical audiences
• Solid understanding of computer science and engineering fundamentals
• Experience working with distributed systems
• Proficient in one or more programming languages (C#, Java, C, C++, Python, SQL, Scala)
• Knowledge of software development code editors and version control systems
• 2+ years of software development experience
• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in computer science or relevant field

Nice to Haves:

• Experience with database engines, micro-services, cloud technologies, Kubernetes, Kafka

What You'll Be Doing:

• Design, build, deliver, and own full lifecycle development software
• Demonstrate a firm grasp of the entire software development lifecycle
• Drive complex changes involving multiple components
• Deliver quality changes with automated tests, metrics, and monitoring
• Collaborate with team members to deliver features
• Implement and maintain product features
• Validate changes to ensure high-quality product releases
• Work in a distributed system environment
• Lead and guide others through mentorship and teaching
