Senior Backend (Java) Engineer

Requirements

• Strong product and customer mindset
• Mentorship skills supporting junior engineers
• Hands-on experience in OOP Languages (Java) and modern technology stacks
• Experience with distributed, high scalability systems and microservices architectures
• Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
• Ability to prioritize, evaluate tradeoffs, and make informed technical decisions
• Collaborative team player with experience working with cross-functional peers
• Expertise in schema design, indexing strategies, and query optimization
• Experience with Redis or Valkey for distributed caching
• Proficiency in working with Kafka and SQL/No-SQL databases

• Leading technical design and implementation for Identity and Account domains
• Implementing and enforcing data governance standards
• Mentoring junior engineers and fostering a high-performance culture
• Aligning with strategic stakeholders for platform architecture
• Building a resilient platform for high availability and scale
