Engineering Lead II

Requirements

• You have a solid background in development, ideally within the Python or Java ecosystems
• Expertise in leveraging cloud services from providers like AWS or GCP
• Strong knowledge of SQL and/or NoSQL database technologies
• Experience creating a culture of operational excellence
• Knowledge of and/or experience leading a service reliability engineering team

Nice to Have

• Passionate about technology and its relationship with product and user experience
• Security and privacy advocate, applying basic security principles
• Experience with configuration management, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, containers, and orchestration
• Interest in payment platforms, foreign exchange, and complex systems

What You'll Be Doing

• Responsible for coaching, mentoring, and growing a high-performing team
• Supporting the team with occasional hands-on involvement as a software engineer
• Collaborating with other leads, engineers, and product managers
• Day-to-day tasks varying across analytics, engineering, and business challenges
