Cloud Governance Engineer II

Requirements:

• Experience managing a Cloud Governance model within a multi-cloud environment in any regulated industry
• Experience assessing controls and implementing remedial measures
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, services, and secure practices
• Ability to analyze complex issues in a data-driven manner
• Expertise in communicating technical information to stakeholders
• Ability to work collaboratively in teams

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of SQL and/or programming languages, such as Python

What You'll Be Doing:

• Maintain and contribute to Cloud Governance policies and KPIs
• Ensure compliance of the cloud platform
• Partner with platform engineering functions to prioritize work
• Provide transparent reporting to senior management on risk position
• Support implementation of effective controls
• Evaluate existing controls, identify gaps, and recommend improvements
• Contribute to sustainability reporting and metrics on carbon emissions
