Software Engineer - Generative AI Platform

Requirements:

• Great communication skills and the ability to build consensus
• Experience being a self-starter, self-motivated and collaborative
• The mindset to solve problems from scratch
• Willingness to give and take regular feedback
• At least 4 years of engineering background in Python with experience putting solutions into production
• High coding standards and understanding of test coverage best practices
• Experience deploying microservices to cloud-based systems
• Experience designing and implementing distributed and concurrent systems
• Knowledge and experience with LLMs and building LLM-based applications
• Experience working with product teams in production
• Stay updated on the latest developments and trends in the AI industry
• Ability to take initiative while working collaboratively
• Great communicator with mentoring skills

Nice to haves:

• Solid engineering background in Typescript/Javascript with experience building performant UIs or using TS/JS AI frameworks
• Passionate about technology and product/user experience
• Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
• Experience with Terraform, GitHub Actions, AWS, or other cloud ecosystems
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and running containerized workloads
• Knowledge of Semantic Search and RAG-based workflows
• Knowledge or experience with MCP servers
• Interest in payment platforms, foreign exchange, and complex systems architecture
• Being a customer of Wise
