Senior Software Engineer I - Onboarding Experience

Requirements

• Experience of Java or other JVM based language, experience with Spring framework and deep understanding of JDBC and database internals.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Distributed and Concurrent Systems
• A strong product mindset and passion for user experience
• Being able to work independently on customer problems
• Close collaboration with product managers, data scientists, data analysts, engineers, and other product teams
• Great communication skills and the ability to articulate complex, technical concepts to a non-technical audience
• Experience working with relational and non-relational databases, query optimization, and designing schemas
• You enjoy writing testable code and believe in Test Driven Development
• You believe in and follow best coding practices, code reviews, and open feedback

What you'll be doing

• You’ll design and build highly available, robust distributed backend systems.
• Improving Know Your Customer (KYC) flows for onboarding experience.
• Creating scalable solutions for verification methods.
• Designing and implementing onboarding initiatives that adapt to regional needs.
• Participating in product roadmapping and strategy sessions with the product management team.
• Owning a technical roadmap to ensure application maintenance to high standards.
• Translating product requirements into technical specifications.
• Ensuring code quality, consistency, and maintainability through code reviews.
• Actively collaborating with other teams and leading projects from beginning till release.

Nice to haves

• Experience with machine learning basics is a huge plus
