Senior Product Engineer - Partner Experience

Requirements:

• Experience designing, building, and deploying backend microservices in Java and Spring Boot.
• Familiarity with domain-driven design, event-driven architecture, and microservices patterns.
• Experience designing and maintaining RESTful APIs commercially.
• Ability to design and maintain relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Enjoy mapping complex technical landscapes.
• Deliver reliably and manage own work.
• Work well with adjacent teams.
• Understand enterprise software needs.

Nice to have:

• Experience building enterprise portals or partner platforms.
• Understanding of payments systems.
• Experience with identity and access management.
• Familiarity with Kafka or other event streaming platforms.
• Experience in a platform team serving multiple consumers.
• Ability to explain technical decisions to non-technical teams.
• Interest in international finance or payments infrastructure.

• Backend microservices for partner-facing features.
• Permissions and role-based access control system.
• SSO integration for enterprise partners.
• Communication layer services between Wise and partners.
• API design for partner-facing endpoints.
• Collaborate with FinCrime, Compliance, and KYC teams.
• Technical discovery and production support.
