iOS Engineer - Consumer Discovery Team

Requirements

• At least 3-4 years developing iOS applications (Swift, SwiftUI)
• Testing ownership mindset (i.e. owning the whole cycle of development)
• Production app monitoring and troubleshooting experience
• Capable and self-sufficient in driving impact
• Experience working in a multi-team development environment

Nice to Haves

• Big plus - being able to carry projects by themselves
• Desire to build beautiful animations
• Clear communication style
• Swift, UIKit, Reactive Programming, Modularization, Swift package manager

What you'll be doing

• Design, build, and operate the high-performance iOS consumer app within discovery surfaces
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Data to define hypotheses and measure outcomes
• Implement A/B tests and feature flags to validate ideas quickly
• Write clean, testable code that's easy to ship
• Mentor engineers and contribute to technical direction through code reviews and design discussions
• Continuously improve technical quality by reducing tech debt, proposing architectural improvements, and measuring their outcomes
