Senior Development Tooling Engineer

Requirements

• Programming Skills: 7+ years of experience in maintaining high availability in a constantly running system built in multiple languages, proficiency in either Java, Python, or Golang is a must. Comfortable with bash scripting.
• Linux Background: 2+ years of strong experience working with Linux, particularly in building containers in ephemeral environments.

What you'll be doing

• Working alongside a team of engineers on tooling, software, and systems to maintain a lean and performant SDLC for feature teams.
• Examples include writing bespoke local or CI tooling, working on the software testing framework or environments, design of release pipeline, and associated flows.

• DevEx expert: Designing and creating tools, flows, and setups for an amazing developer experience. Navigating existing stacks for improvements.
• Owner: Coordinating projects between teams and seeing them through to completion.
• Mentor: Upskilling peers.
• Containerization: Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
