Requirements

• Experience contributing to the architecture and design of new and current systems including architecture, design patterns, reliability, and scaling
• Professional, non-internship software development experience
• Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design
• Comfortable with proactive outward communication and technical leadership
• Ability to drive tasks to completion and take full ownership of projects
• Enjoy collaborating with colleagues and teams across the world
• Experience working with distributed systems and understanding of their deployment
• Strong problem-solving skills

Nice to Haves

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• Experience with full software development life cycle including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations

What You'll Be Doing

• Working with an experienced cross-disciplinary team on consumer electronics products
• Driving key aspects of product definition, execution, and test
• Owning the deployment, operation, and scaling of distributed cloud systems
• Designing new features from scratch and taking full ownership from idea to production deployment
• Developing, testing, setting up infrastructure, deployment, maintenance, and monitoring of systems
• Undertaking feasibility studies to design cloud software solutions
• Analyzing production metrics and customer experience
