Software Development Engineer - Neptune, The AWS In-Memory Databases Console Team

Requirements

• Experience (non-internship) in professional software development
• Experience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Nice to Haves

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations

What You'll Be Doing

• Design and implement features for the Amazon Neptune Console, delivering intuitive experiences for graph database management
• Build responsive, accessible UI components that allow customers to visualize, query, and manage their Neptune graphs with ease
• Integrate Neptune APIs and back-end services into seamless console workflows, ensuring reliability and performance at scale
• Collaborate with an agile, cross-functional team, fostering a start-up culture within a larger organization
• Guide junior engineers on design decisions, code quality, and best practices for console development
