Requirements

5+ years of professional software development experience, with expertise in full-stack development
Strong proficiency in Java and TypeScript/JavaScript with modern frameworks such as React
Deep understanding of object-oriented design principles, REST APIs, and modern web development patterns
Comfortable working across the full-stack at a professional level, able to build and ship frontend features independently
Experience building scalable backend systems including database design, caching strategies, and asynchronous processing
Experience with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
Experience influencing technical direction beyond immediate team through RFCs, design docs, or cross-team collaboration
Proven ability to assess, communicate, and complete project milestones in a time-sensitive manner
Fluent English proficiency (written and verbal)

Experience with workflow automation, business process management, or integration platforms
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, and DevOps practices

Design and implement features for the Box Automate platform, leading with backend architecture and distributed systems design while delivering polished frontend work in React/TypeScript
Develop and optimize backend services that power workflow automation with high performance, reliability, and scalability
Build responsive, intuitive user interfaces enabling users to create, configure, and monitor automated workflows
Collaborate with product, design, and infrastructure teams to define requirements, propose solutions, and deliver features on schedule
Participate in code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to best practices and architectural decisions
Participate in on-call rotation to respond to production incidents outside business hours as needed
Attend weekly stand-ups, team meetings, and manager 1:1s to ensure alignment and continuous improvement
