Software Engineer - Cloud Controls - Vice President - Warsaw

Requirements

• Strong technical ability with a willingness to learn and evolve skills
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science or related field with at least 8 years of relevant professional experience
• Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, or Python and open to learning multiple languages
• Expertise in Linux, containers, system security, and scripting automation
• Experience with Amazon Web Services and cloud security principles
• Effective communication skills for technical concepts collaboration

Nice to Haves

• Bachelor's or Advanced Degree in Computer Science or related field
• 6+ years of work experience with TypeScript, Java, Python, and AWS
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle and infrastructure-as-code tools like CloudFormation or Terraform
• Experience with policy-as-code frameworks and cloud security services
• Understanding of compliance frameworks relevant to financial services
• Familiarity with RESTful API design practices and cloud networking architectures
• Experience with serverless platforms like AWS Lambda and Google Cloud Functions

• Designing, developing, and managing cloud security controls and governance frameworks
• Building and maintaining automated compliance monitoring and enforcement mechanisms
• Developing policy-as-code solutions and collaborating with security, risk, and compliance teams
• Engaging with the larger Core Engineering organization and partnering with cloud providers
