Facilities Technician Developmental Program

Requirements:

• High School Diploma, Technical Secondary School, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with using Google Workspace or similar applications.

Nice to haves:

• Knowledge of or interest in working with HVAC, electrical, or mechanical systems.
• Ability to work effectively in a team.
• Interest in building a career in data center operations.
• Strong work ethic and a sense of responsibility for completing tasks on time.

What you'll be doing:

• Shadow technicians as they inspect, maintain, and repair various data center systems such as piping and mechanical system components.
• Perform basic maintenance and repair tasks, and problem identification to address routine issues by following prescribed procedures under supervision of more executive technicians.
• Use a defined approach to complete subtasks, under direct, day-to-day guidance from managers or executive team members.
• Exchange basic information and knowledge within your own team or functional area, when relevant to the task. Complete theoretical modules of the program.
• Impact the work group via personal accuracy, timeliness, and quality of work. Ask questions around data center operations, maintenance, processes, and procedures.
