Network Operations Engineer, Sovereign Operations, Hampshire

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Networking, Information Security, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3 years of experience with Linux Systems Administration and cloud native networking.
• Experience with scripting languages like Python, Bash, or Poweshell.
• Experience designing and implementing secure networks with various technologies.
• Active or ability to obtain a Developed Vetting (DV) UK security clearance.

Nice to haves:

• Experience deploying and operating production workloads in Kubernetes.
• Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Terraform, or Puppet.
• Understanding of Kubernetes networking model and CNI and Service Mesh configurations.
• Strong partner management and communication skills.
• Current UK Security Check (SC) or UK Developed Vetting (DV) clearance.

What you'll be doing:

• Engage and improve secure cloud platform network systems.
• Assist in building automation for private/secure network scalability.
• Maintain and secure cross-cluster communications in Kubernetes infrastructure.
• Implement changes to improve network reliability, security, and performance.
• Drive Infrastructure as Code and GitOps pipelines for network configurations.
