Senior Critical Environment Technician

Requirements

• High School Diploma, NVQ L3, or equivalent AND extensive experience with mission critical services work/applied learning
• Relevant experience in a specialized area (e.g., mechanical field, electrical field, controls field) or related field
• Possess a valid driver's licence for the Country of the job posting for occasional travel to other Microsoft sites
• Be willing to undertake 'on call duty' for out of hours assistance with major incidents
• Background Check Requirements: Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements

Nice to Haves

• Associate's Degree or technical trade certification (e.g., military, trade school), or higher-equivalent education AND significant proficiency in mission-critical services

What You'll Be Doing

• Serve as an operations specialist in one major area of CE operations and work on advanced tasks independently
• Inspect and supervise critical environment-related facility equipment regularly
• Utilize internal computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) for tracking equipment assets
• Respond to and lead onsite incident response teams for abnormal conditions
• Enhance emergency operating procedures (EOPs) and perform various types of maintenance
