Frontend Engineer

Requirements

• Solid experience with frontend development, ideally with React and React Native for mobile development.
• A genuine curiosity for how systems work end-to-end.
• Full-stack experience, or alternatively a sound understanding of backend services, APIs, and data flows.
• Strong investigation skills and business/product awareness.
• Methodical approach to testing and shipping.
• Good communication skills and ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

What you'll be doing

• Build and maintain features across web and mobile surfaces for expense review, approval workflows, and spend controls.
• Investigate and debug complex issues involving business logic, permissions, and data across multiple services.
• Collaborate with backend engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver features end-to-end.
• Contribute to technical decisions and help shape architecture evolution.
• Partner with other Pleo teams within the domain.
