Senior Software Engineer - Finance Core Accounting

Requirements

• Design, shape, develop, and test applications using Java, Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, Kafka, and React in a microservices environment
• Participate in the development of ledger as a service, aggregation pipeline for financials, and 3rd party integrations
• Work cross-functionally in squads to improve ledger and financial processes
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following coding standards

• Create clear and helpful interfaces while focusing on consistency, maintainability, and performance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize product requirements
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving the codebase
• Own large-scale projects, design scalable systems, and maintain system reliability

Technical Expertise

• Expert-level knowledge in backend technologies with up-to-date knowledge of your discipline
• Strong understanding of frontend technologies and ability to work across the entire stack
• Solid understanding of distributed systems, microservices, and effective design
• Experience designing and building scalable, maintainable systems with proper abstractions
