Senior Software Engineer II - Wealth & Investments

Requirements

• A strong product mindset and passion for user experience, prioritizing work with customers in mind and making data-driven decisions
• Great communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
• Experience in web application and distributed systems development in a production environment
• Ability to coordinate complex projects across different teams
• Knowledge of common design and architectural patterns, writing clean and performant code
• Experience with Java, Spring Boot, and messaging systems like Kafka (nice to have)

What You'll Be Doing

Assets team:

• Scaling a product live in the UK, EU, Singapore, and Australia
• Architecting a high-availability "Yield Engine" managing assets with near-instant liquidity

Investments team:

• Defining technical foundations and brokerage infrastructure for individual stock investments within Wise
• Shaping the strategy and code for a brand-new pillar of the Wise ecosystem
