Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in software testing or engineering focusing on functional testing and API automation, or equivalent experience through coursework, internships, projects, or open-source contributions.
• 1+ years of programming experience in object-oriented or functional languages such as Java, Python, Scala, C#, or C++.
• Hands-on exposure to test automation tools or frameworks like TestNG, JUnit, PyTest, Selenium, Postman, or Robot Framework.
• Basic experience or familiarity with CI/CD environments such as Jenkins, Bamboo, GitLab CI, or TeamCity.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Eagerness to learn complex distributed systems and expand test engineering practices.

Nice to Haves

• Experience or exposure to testing application deployments and migrations across public cloud environments such as AWS and GCP.
• Experience with ElasticSearch, OpenSearch, Vespa, Quadrant, PGVector, or Pinecone.

What You'll Be Doing

• Participate in feature testing cycles including executing test cases, finding edge cases, and writing automated test scripts.
• Validate backend services and application logic mainly through API testing using proprietary and open-source tools.
• Assist in validating tenant data, application behavior, and system performance during data center-to-cloud migrations on AWS and GCP.
• Maintain and update automated test suites to ensure high coverage and reliability within CI/CD pipelines.
• Investigate automated test failures, perform root cause analysis, log detailed defects, and collaborate with developers for verification.
• Engage in sprint planning, code reviews, and quality discussions to maintain product standards early in development.
• Build and maintain Agentic Evaluations for Semantic Search pipelines.
