Senior Software Engineer - Rendering Architecture

Requirements

• Significant experience designing and evolving complex software architectures across products or platforms.
• Deep expertise in graphics, rendering, GPU computing, media processing, effects systems, or related technologies.
• Experience leading major technical decisions and influencing multiple engineering teams.
• Strong understanding of performance, memory, GPU, and platform constraints across desktop, mobile, and/or web environments.
• Excellent technical judgment and ability to build consensus across senior engineering stakeholders.

What you'll be doing

• Define the technical architecture and long-term direction for Film Impact across Adobe products and platforms.
• Partner with multiple teams, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Firefly, mobile, and web teams to drive alignment and architectural convergence.
• Lead major architectural decisions and design reviews spanning macOS, Windows, iOS, Android, and WebGPU environments.
• Help modernize and simplify Adobe’s effects and rendering extensibility frameworks.
• Identify opportunities to reduce duplicated technology and establish shared capabilities across products.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship across team boundaries, balancing near-term product needs with long-term architectural goals.
