The Opportunity

• We are looking for an experienced Senior Engineer to build Agentic Governance services in Adobe's Experience Platform team.
• Trust and Governance builds services for enterprise customers around data access control, policies, lineage enforcement, catalog, privacy, consent, audit, and security capabilities.
• Design, build, deploy, and own production-grade services at Adobe scale.

What You'll Do

• Build, develop, and manage services supporting agentic governance across various domains.
• Implement authorization, policy, and identity components using Python.
• Ship an AI agent capability to production including tool calling/MCP integration.
• Build and maintain well-tested APIs and backend services.
• Deploy and operate services in cloud environments, focusing on reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with senior engineers, architects, and product partners to shape governance standards for agentic systems.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and continuous improvement of engineering practices.

What You Need to Succeed

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Solid backend fundamentals: building and testing APIs, deploying services to the cloud.
• Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases and cloud service platforms (AWS and/or Azure).
• Excellent communication skills and familiarity with Agile/Scrum project management methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Java/JVM experience to integrate with existing services.
• Experience with observability tools and distributed tracing.
• Familiarity with governance concepts like RBAC/ABAC, OAuth/OIDC, or policy engines.
