Requirements

5+ years in security roles in a hands-on technical capacity
Strong engineering mindset with ability to build custom security solutions and prioritize automation
Direct experience with application security, cloud security, or product security, ideally with sensitive customer data
Proven ability to influence without authority and build trust for security practices
Comfortable with startup pace, ambiguity, changing priorities, and intense work periods

Software engineering experience
Specializations in zero-trust architectures, sandboxing, detection engineering, GRC engineering, incident response, endpoint management, or identity/access management

Design, build, and operate core security controls such as IAM, infrastructure/cloud security, endpoint management, and incident response

Establish and advocate for security practices across the organization and communicate decisions clearly
Evaluate vendors and tools, make build-versus-buy decisions, and assess vendor security posture
Lead major security projects from ideation through rollout
