Site Reliability Engineer

Requirements

• Strong emphasis on SRE as an engineering subject area
• Proficiency in Go, Rust, Python, or Swift
• Proven experience as a backend internet services software developer
• Knowledge of software development life-cycle
• Understanding of internet infrastructure services
• Experience operating large-scale distributed systems
• Understanding of SRE principles
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science or equivalent

Nice to Haves

• Experience with server provisioning and maintenance
• Development within the Kubernetes ecosystem
• Experience with UI frameworks like React or Angular
• Hardware bootstrap and associated security
• Storage and caching knowledge
• Automating operations processes
• Configuration management and fleet orchestration
• Cloud Services experience (AWS or equivalent)

• Building and supporting infrastructure for hyperscaling Apple Silicon systems
• Responding to alerts and incidents to improve system performance
• Applying SRE principles and improving system reliability and efficiency
