Requirements

• You are working towards a doctoral degree in computer science, engineering, data science, applied mathematics, or equivalent.
• At the end of the internship, you must return to school to continue your education or the internship must be the last requirement for you to graduate.
• 6 months dedication is preferred, and starting no later than March 2026.
• Solid software engineering skills in complex, multi-language systems. Fluency in Python.
• Experience with PyTorch.
• Proven research expertise in machine learning and/or computer vision.
• Publication record in relevant conferences (e.g., CVPR, ECCV, ICCV, ICLR, ICML, NeurIPS, SIGGRAPH, etc).

Nice to Haves

• Ability to formulate a research problem, design, experiment, implement and communicate solutions.
• Ability to work in a diverse collaborative environment.
• Strong mathematical skills in linear algebra, probability, optimization and statistics.
• Action oriented.
• Strong overall software development approach. You deliver clean, well-tested code.
• Research experience in 3D reconstruction, neural rendering, view synthesis, image & video synthesis.

• Continue sharpening your research skills in machine learning, computer vision, and related areas.
• Identify promising research opportunities, review state-of-the-art methods, craft novel approaches, implement code prototypes, plan and run large-scale experiments, and see projects through publication.
• Collaborate with world-class researchers and work towards publishing new findings.
