Requirements

Design and code with excellence in both disciplines.
Experience designing products and shipping code to hundreds of users.
Exceptional proficiency in either design or engineering practice full-time.
Good proficiency with TypeScript, React, and CSS; backend proficiency is a plus.
Ability to work with minimal process and strong ownership of project decisions.
Excellent taste and execution in visual design.

Nice to Haves

Experience contributing to or building design systems.
Familiarity with GraphQL API, Node.js, Postgres, and Redis.
Comfort with AI-powered tooling for software development.
Ability to collaborate naturally and communicate deliberately in a remote environment.

Design and implement challenging UI/UX problems on a product used by over 100,000 weekly active users.
Expand and enhance the in-house design system.
Consult on bespoke design work with Product Engineers.
Ship product changes rapidly and iterate based on user feedback.
Take ownership of projects end-to-end including research, specification, wireframing, and implementation.
Work closely with recruiting teams and hiring managers to test ideas and gather immediate customer feedback.
Collaborate with a diverse, talented, and kind engineering team while balancing work-life needs.
