Requirements

5+ years of professional software development experience (non-internship)
5+ years programming experience with at least one software language
5+ years leading design or architecture of new and existing systems, focusing on design patterns, reliability, and scaling
Experience as a mentor, technical lead, or engineering team leader
Ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, including senior stakeholders
Experience leading agentic and spec-driven development at production scale; experience with AI agents is a plus
Familiarity with AI tools such as evaluation frameworks, agent tooling, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines, and prompt engineering

Nice to Haves

Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
Experience working with AWS services
Experience building or deploying AI/ML applications at enterprise production scale
Background as a founder, engineering lead, or startup builder with strong ownership and urgency
Experience architecting and delivering complex, multi-component systems in customer production environments
Experience with React, TypeScript, Python, and/or Go
Experience leading customer-facing technical projects or managing external stakeholder relationships
3+ years working in Agile, startup, or rapidly scaling environments

Lead technical delivery across complex, multi-workstream AI customer engagements, owning strategy and execution with 30–50% travel
Architect and build scalable production AI systems including multi-agent orchestration, enterprise retrieval, and decision intelligence platforms
Establish operational standards, evaluation frameworks, and production readiness criteria to ensure AI system health and reliability
Define engineering patterns, contribute to hiring processes, and mentor junior engineers to increase team effectiveness
Accelerate customer transformation by identifying opportunities to expand AI adoption and creating reusable platforms and accelerators
