What You'll Be Doing

• Lead design and implementation efforts for new components of the Metadata Platform from the ground up.
• Collaborate with partner teams and domain architects on system design and service integration.
• Design and implement scalable services focusing on reliability, observability, operability, and efficiency.
• Define the vision and assemble feature roadmaps for the platform.
• Mentor other engineers and contribute to team growth and development.
• Strengthen engineering processes, principles, and culture by championing learning, continuous improvement, and blameless retrospection.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Deep expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript with at least one modern frontend framework (e.g., React).
• Strong HTML/CSS knowledge with responsive UI skills and understanding of state management, accessibility, performance, and security basics.
• Backend coding experience with Node.js is required; proficiency is a significant advantage.
• Strong experience in designing and implementing APIs and services with solid system design and data modeling skills.
• Ability to design, build, and deploy high-quality software.
• Experience leading engineering teams, assessing and communicating project milestones.
• Serve as a technical expert providing guidance on best practices, coding standards, and complex issues.
• Experience mentoring and coaching engineers and providing technical feedback.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.

Nice to Haves

• Experience deploying and operating microservices in a cloud environment.
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Azure.
