Requirements:

University degree in Computer Science or comparable education
5+ years of professional experience building Java applications that are scalable, reliable and testable
Fluency in Java and Python is required
Strong experience with data-intensive, performance-critical distributed systems
Experience rolling out changes across a large fleet of distributed systems
Track record of developing and operating systems that process data workloads at scale
Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms
Ability to turn customer-facing problems into executable plans
Excellent communication skills in English, German is a plus

What You'll Be Doing:

Lead design and delivery of services across new and existing microservices
Evolve the new premium query engine by owning and delivering entire feature sets
Drive query engine migration milestones end to end
Establish and extend AI agent tooling
Sustain operational and security robustness of Tier 0 and Tier 1 services
