What You'll Be Doing

• Building a brand new EMS platform for Listed Futures and Options.
• Translating product and design requirements into clean, maintainable and well-tested components.
• Collaborating closely with product managers, business, traders, designers, and back-end engineers to deliver high-quality experiences.
• Identifying and resolving performance, accessibility, and usability issues across the application.
• Participating in code reviews, contributing to shared component libraries, and helping uphold engineering standards.
• Supporting the operational health of features and maintaining a high SLA.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience using Java.
• At least 4 years of experience working with modern technologies, including proven Senior Engineer level experience.
• Hands-on experience building and supporting low-latency, front-office trading systems.
• Deep understanding of execution management systems (EMS), including core functionality and workflows.
• Strong knowledge of software design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
• Collaborative mindset and preference for working in team-oriented environments.
• Strong commitment to engineering quality, reliability, and high development standards.
• Passion for delivering a best-in-class developer experience, focusing on tooling, performance, and maintainability.

Nice to Haves

• Experience with Java and/or Rust, AWS, FIX protocol, Kafka, Kubernetes, and Cloud (AWS or Azure).
