Requirements

• You've been building agents long enough to have opinions about context engineering, tool design, and more.
• Experience with backend skills in TypeScript/Node.js and/or Python.
• Hands-on experience building agents and dealing with failure modes.
• Experience designing skills and a clear view on when to use them.
• Strong practice with evaluations and SQL proficiency.

What you'll do

• Build agents that investigate incidents using ClickStack.
• Write skills, build a library, and own the agent stack end-to-end.
• Make ClickStack a great place to run AI workloads.
• Collaborate with OSS contributors, debug, and tackle challenging aspects.

Nice to haves

• Strong opinions on agent observability and ideas for improvement.
• Experience with columnar databases and event ingestion pipelines.
• Contributions to open source AI/agent projects.
