Requirements

Advanced programming expertise in object-oriented languages (Golang, Python, or similar)
Strong foundation in algorithms, data structures, and technical problem-solving
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent professional experience
10+ years of production experience with large-scale distributed systems
Proven microservices experience with scalable REST APIs and distributed communication patterns
Solid understanding of distributed systems concepts (concurrency, parallel processing, scalability)
System troubleshooting experience for complex distributed architectures
Experience building data platforms at scale with distributed ETLs and ingestion pipelines
Proficiency with message queues such as Kafka
Database experience with OpenSearch, Cassandra, Redis, Valkey, and similar technologies
Experience with OLAP systems and large-scale analytical challenges
Strong cloud infrastructure knowledge (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI)
Experience integrating AI tools into SDLC pipelines and use of AI-powered development tools (e.g., Claude, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT)
Understanding of secure AI-assisted development practices and AI agent task coordination
Engineering best practices: testing, code reviews, fault tolerance, resilient architecture
Collaborative skills and ability to mentor junior engineers
Experience contributing to technical decisions and leadership in engineering

Prior experience in cybersecurity or intelligence fields
Knowledge and experience with graph databases and graph structures (nodes, edges, relationships)

Design and develop scalable backend services supporting internal and customer-facing web applications focusing on performance, reliability, and security
Develop and maintain APIs, microservices, and data pipelines for platform growth
Collaborate with DevOps to design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP
Create and maintain scripts and tools to automate deployment, monitoring, and maintenance
Design database solutions with distributed data stores such as Cassandra, OpenSearch, Neo4J, Apache Pinot, and caching systems like Redis
Troubleshoot complex distributed systems and optimize performance and reliability
Implement monitoring and logging to improve system visibility and debugging
Partner across teams (UX/UI, Sensors, etc.) to deliver integrated solutions with clear documentation
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and contribute to the technical vision and strategy
