What you'll be doing

Turn AI opportunities into measurable product outcomes, from problem framing and data exploration through experimentation, validation and production deployment.
Design, develop and evolve Machine Learning and Computer Vision solutions supporting product authentication, fraud detection and digital product experiences, selecting the right approach for each problem.
Evaluate and apply modern AI approaches including multimodal and foundation models, embeddings and Generative AI to create meaningful value.
Build robust AI experimentation and evaluation practices including datasets, meaningful metrics, error analysis and repeatable validation.
Productionize AI components with a focus on scalability, latency, reliability, cost, model/version management, monitoring and continuous improvement.
Collaborate with Product, Engineering, UX, Data and external partners to shape requirements and turn AI capabilities into usable and maintainable product features.

Requirements

4+ years of experience designing, developing, and deploying Machine Learning / Deep Learning solutions, including Computer Vision and production AI systems.
Strong Python skills and experience with ML frameworks such as PyTorch and/or TensorFlow.
Deep understanding of Computer Vision and Deep Learning techniques (image classification, detection, embeddings, anomaly detection, etc.).
Practical experience with foundation models, multimodal/Vision-Language Models, or Generative AI techniques, including assessing accuracy, limitations, latency and cost.
Strong data and experimentation skills: dataset preparation, feature engineering, statistical reasoning, error analysis, model evaluation; familiarity with SQL and ML libraries.
Experience with MLOps and production AI best practices: experiment tracking, model versioning, CI/CD, containerization, cloud deployment, and model monitoring.
Strong analytical and communication skills to explain complex AI concepts and work across product, engineering, and business teams.
Fluency in English; Italian language skills are a plus.

Competitive base pay ranging from approximately 42,800 EUR to 59,000 EUR depending on location, skills, and experience.
Potential target bonus and restricted stock units (if applicable).
