What you'll be doing

Lead your team(s) to deliver large, complex, ambiguous initiatives and drive engineering performance.
Champion engineering-led improvements and shape engineering-wide standards, including effective AI use.
Solve technical problems and act as a recognised technical authority within Product Engineering.
Drive technical strategy aligned with commercial outcomes and customer needs.
Collaborate to set technical and product vision ensuring alignment with broader strategy.
Make architectural decisions ensuring designs are durable, scalable, and secure.
Communicate expertly with stakeholders at all levels and navigate contentious conversations.

Requirements

Technical leader with a track record of owning complex, ambiguous delivery across team boundaries.
Passion for mentoring and coaching, with feedback embedded in your working style.
Strong instincts for spotting and resolving cross-team friction or misalignment.
Experience in at least one major programming language such as Python, Ruby, or Clojure.
Recognised technical authority with trusted judgement sought across sub-departments.
Proven ability to leverage AI tooling to enhance team performance and ship efficiently.
