Requirements

Understanding of Salesforce’s strengths and weaknesses, knowing where best to apply it and where to avoid.
Passion for modern software development principles including being AI native, fast feedback and iteration, and high levels of engineering productivity backed by metrics.
Prior or current experience in engineering management, including the ability to have tough conversations.
Ability to embody Funding Circle’s values and positively impact and lead a close team.

What you'll be doing

Leading the Salesforce Platform team and managing the Salesforce platform at Funding Circle.
Defining and executing a prioritised platform roadmap aligned with business and technology objectives.
Leveling up the team’s product development maturity towards engineering excellence and target architecture.
Building a collaborative and inclusive team environment that empowers engineers to excel.
Facilitating open communication, resolving conflicts constructively, and fostering a culture of mutual respect and support.
Prioritising work, planning capacity, and ensuring timely delivery to drive company and team goals.
Implementing robust engineering processes, promoting strategic technology adoption, and establishing clear policies.
Exploring and realising value through the use of AI across software development and product development life cycles.
Representing Funding Circle at industry events to contribute to brand growth and community relationships.
Building strong partnerships with business stakeholders and sharing ownership of successful outcomes.
Mentoring and educating stakeholders and engineers to empower independent problem solving.
