Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Networking, Information Security, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 6 years of experience with IP networking, internet service providers, L2-L7 network protocols, border gateway protocol, or network troubleshooting.
• Experience with designing and implementing resilient, secure networks using a wide range of technologies.
• Active, or the ability to obtain, a Developed Vetting (DV) UK security clearance.

Nice to haves:

• Experience deploying and operating production workloads in Kubernetes.
• Experience with scalable cloud networking concepts (such as Load Balancers, Firewalls) and web standards (such as REST APIs, web security mechanisms).
• Experience managing or directing field operation technicians, engineers, and extended workforces in a telecommunications environment.
• Experience with Software Defined Networking, scripting and automation, network architecture, or MPLS L3 VPN.
• Excellent partner management, follow-through, resourcefulness, attention to detail, and verbal and written communication skills.
• Current and active UK Security Check (SC) or UK Developed Vetting (DV) security clearance.

What you'll be doing:

• Engage and improve the whole life cycle of private/secure networks from inception and design, to qualification and validation, through deployment, operation and optimization.
• Assist Engineering and Operations teams in building an ecosystem of integration, empowering software automation to scale within private/secure networks.
• Work cross-functionally to design, develop, and validate product introductions of network and computing hardware, solutions, and technologies.
• Provide highly technical implementation and operational support in customer environments, including guidance on implementation feasibility of cross-product integrations.
