Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
2 years of experience with software development or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree in an industry setting.
2 years of experience with developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems, or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage, or hardware architecture.

Nice to haves:

Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.
Experience programming using C++.
Experience in building, and operating large-scale distributed systems.
Experience with performance analysis, tuning, and optimization of complex systems.
Understanding of distributed systems concepts (e.g., consistency, fault tolerance, replication, partitioning).
Familiarity with the internals of storage systems, file systems, or databases.

Design, develop, and test robust, scalable, and high-performance software for our distributed storage system, primarily using C++.
Contribute to the technical design and implementation of new features and significant system improvements.
Analyze and improve the efficiency, reliability, and performance of the storage system.
Debug and resolve complex issues in large-scale distributed environments, including those in production, often in collaboration with SRE teams.
Write high-quality, maintainable, and well-tested code, and participate actively in code reviews.
