Requirements

Strong frontend engineering experience with React and TypeScript, and comfort contributing to backend services and APIs
Experience delivering complex projects and mentoring other engineers
Technical ownership and clear communication in a fully remote, asynchronous environment
Experience being on-call, supporting software in production, ensuring reliability, and responding to incidents
Ability to work on complex engineering problems independently
User-focused approach with pragmatic problem solving and iterative delivery
Practical experience using AI coding tools to improve productivity and quality
Interest in and care for the Grafana user and contributor community

Nice to Haves

Open-source contribution or maintainership, with community engagement experience
Interest or experience with observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, or Tempo

Own technical projects from problem framing through rollout, including user feedback and measuring impact
