Requirements

• An extensive background in software engineering, ideally in distributed or high-performance systems
• Experience with F#, C#, Python or similar languages in production environments
• Experience working with Python in research or data-driven workflows
• Familiarity with modern backend and cloud-native technologies including Kubernetes and relational databases
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work closely with quantitative researchers

What You'll Be Doing

• Play a key role in helping quant researchers move faster across a large-scale compute estate
• Build systems to reduce complexity of running workloads across massive compute farms and provide real-time support
• Focus on contributing to a core scheduling platform written in F#, distributing workloads across the compute farm
• Extend tooling and frameworks to enable quants to build and deploy research platforms
